Description Our client, a rapidly growing company in Illinois is searching for a Senior Accountant. Senior Accountant responsibilities:

• Assist in the month-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date.

• Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial accuracy.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, tracking and recording all relevant transactions.

• Prepare financial statements, providing a clear and accurate picture of the company's financial health.

• Handle other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

• Leverage intermediate MS Excel skills to manage and analyze data, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.

• Manage full cycle accounting tasks, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.

• Handle monthly journal entries and accruals, ensuring all financial transactions are up to date.

• Manage prepaid expenses, ensuring these are accurately tracked and recorded.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date.
