We are in search of a Senior Accountant in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger operations. Expertise in various software such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is necessary. For consideration, you must live in Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
• Process and reconcile accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
• Oversee general ledger operations, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating them as necessary.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurate.

Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are essential
• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is necessary
• Thorough knowledge of General Ledger is required
• Ability to handle Journal Entries is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected
• Should be able to manage Month End Close procedures
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle is highly desirable
• Familiarity with SAP is beneficial
