　　Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a Software as a Service Company (SaaS) to recruit a Senior Accountant to join it growing team! This role handles financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. 　　How you will make an impact

　　Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

　　Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

　　Engage in various department-wide initiatives

　　Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

　　Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

　　Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

　　Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

　　Requirements

　　ERP system experience

　　Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

　　3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

　　Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

　　BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

　　Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

　　Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Must have excellent time management skills

　　Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Intercompany Accounting experience preferred

　　Proficiency in financial statement preparation

　　Comprehensive knowledge of month end close

　　Revenue Recognition Accounting experience a plus

　　Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

　　SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
