Our client, a leader in the healthcare Industry, has an exciting opportunity for a SQL Report Writer / Analyst

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

Business Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for reporting solutions.

Translate reporting and dashboard requirements into scalable and automated solutions .

Assist internal teams in selecting optimal data fields and designing layouts to meet business needs.

Report Development Automation:

Design and implement automated report delivery using BOLD Reports and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) .

Build, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures to enhance performance.

Develop custom dashboards and reporting solutions for internal teams using Power BI Paginated Reports, SSRS, and BOLD Reports .

Maintain audit performance dashboards using external data sources and improve on existing templates.

Data Management Compliance:

Perform data extraction, validation, and cleaning to ensure data integrity.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS guidelines , and other industry regulations.

Support external audits and regulatory reviews by providing system-related documentation and insights.

Process Improvement Documentation:

Continuously evaluate and improve internal techniques and reporting processes .

Document report design, development processes, and technical specifications .

Identify potential risks in system design and propose mitigation strategies.

Experience Requirements:

Technical Skills Qualifications:

Required:

3-5 years of experience as a SQL Report Writer / Analyst (preferably in medical insurance or healthcare ).

Strong experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), queries, joins, and stored procedures .

Proficiency in reporting tools : SSRS, BOLD Reports, Power BI Paginated Reports.

Hands-on experience with database management, data visualization, and process documentation .

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred:

Experience with programming languages (C#, .NET, Python, Transact-SQL).

Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Visio, Excel, Power BI).

Familiarity with project management and user testing methodologies .

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
