Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Wilmington, Delaware

Required Skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/ or equivalent work experience

Relevant Financial Industry experience

5+ years of relevant SQL development experience

Strong analytical skills

Proficiency with Microsoft products, MS Word, MS Excel SQL and MS Power Point

Extremely detail-oriented and ability to prioritize and see initiatives through to completion

Able to work in a fast-paced organization and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret Business Requirements to develop high-quality SQL queries and code that meet business needs

Execute Test Scripts and stored procedures for newly developed functionality

Research data required to properly execute queries

Analyze existing SQL queries for performance efficiency and accuracy

Audit query output and results and effectively communicate to business groups

Support business units with SQL and development support as needed; Escalate issues or concerns as necessary

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations requiring advanced analytical and quantitative skills

Make recommendations to drive company business decisions and outcomes

Assist in the development of reporting solutions leveraging SQL queries and data knowledge

Work in a controlled environment to mitigate risk and provide accurate and timely results by following controlled development and validation processes
