Description
OverviewThe Developer will work with the IT Lead and Sr. Developer to create and modify technological processes based on business analysis. The role will assist the Technical Shared Services team in improving current processes, implementing new products, and automating solutions to achieve maximum efficiency.
The Developer will be responsible for engaging with business operations owners to determine and operationalize technical requests including developing technical specification and technical project plans and providing regular feedback on progress. The Developer will communicate systems expertise to develop and maintain the technical solutions that meet the business needs.
Qualifications1.

Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. An additional two (2) years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Three (3) years of experience designing and developing software with the ability to design and implement reusable objects required.
Experience working with healthcare data, ANSI X12 and HIPAA standard formats preferred.
Experience supporting business applications required.
Experience with various programming languages and tools.
Experience with SQL programming language/query/reporting/scripting.
Experience working with SSRS and SSIS.
Experience converting Access Databases to SQL preferred.
Proficient with File Transfer Protocols, scripting, encryption and SSH.
Working knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and network configurations.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work as part of a team or to be self-directed as required.
Solid understanding of System Development Life Cycle methodology.
Experience in the following a plus: AWS, SharePoint, Salesforce, Tidal
Understanding of project management as well as Agile Methodology.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to gather, comprehend and document technical requirements.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and assume accountability.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Work is typically performed in an office environment with some physical demands such as: sitting for long periods of time (6-8 hours per day) bending, stretching, lifting, typing, speaking, hearing, handling, fingering, lifting up to 5 lbs., near acuity/clarity with or without correction, subject to inside environmental conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes, subject to moderate noise, and normal exposure to everyday risks and discomfort requiring common safety precautions.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to communicate professionally in person, over the telephone, through email and other electronic means, handle various types of media and equipment, and visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening hours in order to meet deadlines.
