• Key Responsibilities:

　　o Design, develop, maintain tests based on user stories, use cases, other requirements sources, technical specifications, and non-functional requirements.

　　o Execute testing on new features (functional and non-functional) as well as regression testing where applicable and automate tests where possible.

　　o Collaborate with different roles in the international organization.

　　o Interact with product owners, development teams and testers to develop a strong understanding of the project and product testing objectives.

　　o Application of test design concepts to derive functional and performance test cases in JIRA.

　　o Execution of tests, Review and\or validate fixes and defect tracking in JIRA.

　　o Verification of software, Firmware, and hardware interoperability for supported platforms.

　　o Review and refactor existing tests and provide suggestions to improve the quality and efficiency of the test.

　　o Communicate test results and highlight potential quality risks.

　　o Ensure test design is traceable to requirements, user stories or existing manual tests and achieves a high level of requirement/test coverage.

　　o Create necessary test data to test user stories and collaborate with automation resource on what is needed to increase the automation suite (including XML, JSON and proprietary format messages as needed, phyton, etc.).

　　o Create and update automation test scripts during sprints.

　　o Initiate and contribute to improvements in test productivity to include test coverage analysis and optimization for systems under test.

　　o Partner with development team to debug defects early in life cycle.

　　o Perform Root cause analysis for Beta or production defects.

　　o Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.

　　o Mentor SQA/automation engineers, providing guidance and coaching for their test activities.

　　o Follow and support Engineering processes with an emphasis on Kaizen.

　　• Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have

　　o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training

　　o 2+ years of technical QA experience

　　o Other preferred courses/certifications: ISTQB

　　• Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have

　　o Domain (Preferred Industry) – Automotive, Home Appliances, Consumer Electronics, Oil and Energy, Telecommunications, Payments, Embedded

　　o Experience with Agile methodologies with the scrum implementation as part of an agile SCRUM project team.

　　o Experience in design and implementation of validation procedures, test plans, and test cases.

　　o Experience in developing, writing and managing the execution of an overall software test strategy.

　　o Experience with an international environment and you have good quality of oral and written communication in English language.

　　o Experience with Jira or related software testing/defect management tools.

　　o Excellent computer skills (Windows, Excel, Outlook, etc)

　　o Experience with Linux OS.

　　o Experience with Cloud environment – as plus.
