Job Description:
Provides the application of principles, methods and procedures of measurement, prediction, non-medical diagnosis, testing, counseling, consultation, rehabilitation and instruction related to the development and disorders of speech, voice, swallowing, and/or language for the purpose of preventing, ameliorating or modifying such disorder conditions in individuals and/or groups of individuals. Also assists the Manager of Rehabilitation Services with the day-to-day operations and leadership of the Rehabilitation Services department.
Salary Range:
$80,233-$104,499 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:
1.
Education: (a) M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, (b) certificate of clinical competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or the equivalent thereof as determined by the New York State Education Department.
Experience: Prefer five (5) years of clinical experience, minimum three (3) years of acute care experience required. Leadership experience preferred.
License/Certification Required: Must be registered as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in . Must have certification and ability to both perform and train applicable staff in objective swallowing studies (i.e. Modified Barium Studies and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow). BLS required
