Job Overview:

The Speech Therapy department is seeking a per diem Inpatient Speech Pathologist to join the team.

Qualifications:

Required:

Master's degree in speech language pathology

Minimum of one year of experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

New Jersey state licensure in speech/language pathology

New Jersey speech specialist certification or eligibility

Certificate of clinical competence in speech/language pathology

Scheduling Requirements:

Day shift

Per Diem

Must be available for weekend coverage

Essential Functions:

Inservice on subjects related to speech, language or dysphagia

Assist in updating diagnostic and/or therapeutic materials and supplies

Provides counseling to patients and/or their families with regard to the diagnostic finding, the therapeutic program or further referral

Administer qualitative diagnostic, habilitative and rehabilitative services related to communication disorders for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
