Position Summary
CVS health has an exciting new opportunity for a Specialty Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team in Fort Worth, TX. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases As part of the team, you will you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels.
You will be essential to ensuring medication orders are entered correctly and moved to the appropriate team. Inbound & Outbound calls. You will also be asked to contact patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date, perform refill reminder calls, and accurately fill medication orders. Other Job responsibilities may include assisting with Prior Authorizations, preparing orders for delivery, register functions, Packing/Shipping medication orders, maintaining adequate inventory, managing inventory functions, and helping walk-in patients. You must be able to lift and ship prescriptions up to 40 lbs.

Texas State Pharmacy Technician Licensure
National Certification - PTCB or ExCPT
Minimum 1 Year Pharmacy Technician ExperiencePreferred Qualifications- 3 to 5 years in Retail Pharmacy Setting
1 to 2 years in Specialty Pharmacy Setting
MS Office Suite Proficiency
Strong Time Management / Organizational Skills
Education- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $28.45
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
