Create and manage District\'s unionized employee attendance program.Work with stakeholders to develop a system that maximizes employeeattendance while adhering to all applicable laws and the collectivebargaining agreement. Track and analyze absenteeism and leave of absencedata from a variety of sources, and use this information to manage tooutcomes. Manage District contact with employees concerning absences,time loss and remaining leave. Manage assistance to or provision ofresources to employees about accessing FMLA/OFLA or other long-termleaves of absence. Ensure that care calls to employees absent formultiple days and the development of return-to-work plans with employeesare conducted. Partner with FMLA/OFLA provider, ADA Coordinator,Worker\'s Compensation, operations managers, and other internalstakeholders regarding the status of employees who are absent. Createand maintain policies related to the District\'s attendance programs.Reduce chronic and long-term absenteeism through better tracking,reporting, collaboration between departments and coaching of employees.Ensure a commitment to reduction in absences, especially long-termabsences and assisting with employees returning to work after beingabsent for longer periods of time. Ensure a commitment to safety throughconsistent and professional behaviors in performance of job requirementsthat demonstrate safety is a fundamental value that guides all aspectsof our work. Perform related duties as required. Minimum 4 yearsexperience required. Serve as a good steward by regularly utilizing ourtransit system to maintain a strong and current understanding ofcustomers\' experiences and of our product and service offerings.
