Job DescriptionPosition Title: Special Education Specialized ParaeducatorDepartment: Teaching and LearningReports To: Building PrincipalCompensation: Pay Grade 1C (CWA Master Contract)Calendar: 187 DaysCategory: Classified HourlySUMMARY:Assists and supports teachers and students through the implementation of IEP supports andservices for students assigned to district specialized programs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential duties must be performed on site. Other duties may be assigned* Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.* Assists with group instructional reinforcement, support students at teachers direction, asneeded.* Assists in individual or group data collection and progress monitoring.* Assists in providing feedback on student work.* Assists teacher in promoting a positive learning environment.
