  CML Engineering Specialist

  Description:

  Define, document, release and administer MOSSAIC Command Media Library ensuring maintenance compliance to MOSSAIC Command Media requirements in accordance with SI1-002 Command Media Management and MOSSAIC Quality Management Plan. Serve as Primary Maintenance and Command Media Process Administrator point of contact (POC) and site Subject Matter Expert (SME). Facilitate revision/process improvement efforts on all command media directives/policies/manuals/handbooks/guidebooks. Track and analyze observations and findings. Coordinate with document owners to ensure conduct of periodic reviews and identity opportunities for improvement.

  Must be a US Citizen. This is an on-site position located at Colorado Springs facility.

  Responsibilities:

  Serve as the lead SI1 and MOSSAIC command media library administrator, supporting, leading and training the command media to the SI1 sites and MOSSAIC program.

  Responsible for maintaining and updating CM Library and baselines directives, policies, manuals, and process instructions/procedures working with each functional discipline to ensure these document are periodically reviewed, maintained and kept current.

  Coordinate with the SAS Policy Office to ensure SI1 CML to SAS CML consistency as much as practical.

  Assist SI1/MOSSAIC functional owners with waiver requests, if needed.

  Provide support for change boards, document release, and other CML related tasks when needed.

  Serve as the focal point for control, storage, retrieval, maintenance and modification of all SI1/MOSSAIC CML documentation.

  Assist SI1/MOSSAIC personnel with Change Requests and track CML Change Requests to closure. Track and close changes and action items.

  Interact frequently with data originators and functional managers to ensure periodic updates and identify opportunities for improvements.

  Basic Qualifications:

  For Specialist position - Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or 2+ years of experience with a Master’s degree

  Knowledge of software / hardware configuration, data and change management principles and proficiency in the use of configuration management tools

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Self-motivated and able to effectively work with all levels of the organization

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Proficient in tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe, and SharePoint (CMD Library site).

  Secret clearance preferred.

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
