Position title: Sourcing Manager (Packaging) EMEA

　　Location: Most (Havran), CZ

　　Reports to: Sr. Sourcing Manager EMEA

　　Contract type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid working system

　　Your Role & Team in Nutshell

　　As a Sourcing Manager, you will lead projects related to supplier selection procedures for packaging (corrugate packaging, specialty packaging for the DYMO brand, POS (FSDU), printed film, etc.) in the EMEA region.

　　You will negotiate prices, conditions of cooperation, and terms of delivery in accordance with Newell purchasing procedures. Your role will include the sourcing of new vendors, taking an active part in stock control, the development of suppliers, and the quality of the services provided.

　　You will work independently while being part of an international team of five people based at our Yankee Candle production site in Havran.

　　Your key tasks as a Sourcing Manager:

　　Purchasing of goods and services according to applicable internal regulations and ensuring operational purchasing of direct and other materials pursuant to applicable internal regulations and standards.

　　Direct sourcing, cooperation with US and EMEA team regarding supplier selection procedure – negotiate contractual conditions with suppliers, analyze suppliers’ offers, evaluate and select suppliers based on a range of conditions.

　　Manage supplier’s database in order to ensure sufficiency of quality materials and services that meet the company’s standards.

　　Ensure selection procedures based on internal customer requirements – support and maintain strong business relationships.

　　Deal with incongruities in suppliers’ invoices – identification of suitable correction measures.

　　Manage all documentation in accordance with internal audit requirements.

　　Cooperation with the team in special projects, in particular connected with launch of new products, quality problems, reduction of materials and overhead costs.

　　What You’ll Need

　　Minimum:

　　5 years of proven experience in the strategic purchasing area within a manufacturing company (preferably with packaging)

　　Knowledge of MRP principles as well as FIFO system

　　Good command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

　　Fluent in English and Czech (written & spoken)

　　Active driving license (group B)

　　Willing to travel internationally (average 2-3 times per month)

　　Your advantage:

　　High school or University degree with technical or economic major

　　Very good communication and negotiation skills

　　Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize

　　Ability to analyze as well as think strategically

　　Result driven team player

　　Familiarity with Commercial Code and relevant legislation

　　Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP system would be an advantage
