　　(.1) FTE minimum 8 hours per pay period

　　Supports scheduled staff PTO coverage.

　　About the job

　　In this role the Ultrasound Technologist, under the general supervision of an attending radiologist, and in accordance with department protocols, the ultra-sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data which is used by physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis resulting in quality patient care. Will supports In-patient/Out-patient ultrasound services.

　　Required:

　　Associate Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

　　Specific Degree(s): AMA approved Sonography program

　　Less than one year of previous job-related experience

　　Licensure/Certifications

　　Required:

　　CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from American Heart Association ONLY

　　Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

　　Other: New Graduate obtain certification within 3 months of hire

　　Registration within one year of hire, in a minimum of one to two specialties of either Abdomen and/or Obstetrics & Gynecology required.

　　Registration in both Abdomen and Obstetrics & Gynecology preferred.
