The OpenVINO team at Intel is looking for someone to advance our product in developer and product adoption. In this is a product role the candidate is expected to also be AI and SW developer technical. Our focus is on developer growth and one aspect to measure that is to grow our Out-of-the-box conversion and usage of new models as well as framework interfaces (example torch.compile and onnx runtime execution providers). Prioritizing based on our goals of model enablement and other requested features is the primary, but not only, duties this job entails. Stakeholder communication will be key across requestors and the teams implementing the features.
In particular this role is the primary interface for the entire CCG (aka our PC division) BU, , keeping tabs on their most critical requirements as it relates to the AAO objective of making the AI PC a success. Secondly, our compatibility with industry frameworks needs careful attention from this role. Lastly, growth of developers, in our opinion requires growth in github and the ecosystem for better awareness and code contributions, this role is on point for that as well. The team is global in nature which requires flexibility in schedule for conference calls regardless of your home geo.
A Software Technical Product Manager in the Network and Edge group is:
Customer obsessed, takes an outside-in approach and is focused on solving problems and discovering customer needs - not about features or roadmap but delivering results
Inclusive and Collaboratively defines problem statements and at times Requirements with engineers/architects, DX/UX and vertical/customer marketing
Employs hypothesis driven, scientific approach to identify and tackle risk and uncertainties upfront thru iterative validation, testing and learning experiments from idea to delivery
Seting the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product (or product portion).
Proactively managing Requirements - Develops functional/nonfunctional requirements that address all defined customer needs. Manages changes in products requirements are carefully evaluated to minimize disruption to the development team
Constantly helping with and guiding Go to Market/Distribution Plans - Determines best route to market scale, monetization, Ecosystem / Value Chain Plan and Support plan
Engages customers - Through out the phases to validate product.
Refine the process to achieve smooth integration, and interoperability with OpenVINO team and toolkit.
pdating ops reviews and dashboards.
Ready for our fast paced release cycles and demanding customers
The Software Technical Product Manager should possess the following attributes in addition to the qualifications listed below.
Must be able to do up to 10-15 percent travel (primarily international - post Covid-19 world)
Clear communication: (written, verbal, presentations). Please be prepared to show samples of previous work articulating clear requirements and/or providing clear feature overviews.
Due to global nature of the team flexible work times would be required.

Qualifications
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or in a related field of study and 6+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or in a related field of study and 4+ years of experience OR relevant 4 year business degree with 6+ experience in software industry.
1+ years’ experience with deep learning/AI.
4+ years’ experience with project/product management.
How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):
OpenVINO familiarity.
Experience building and maintaining roadmaps.
Technical dept in AI optimization products and offerings
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
