　　Software Engineer, iOS Responsibilities:

　　Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for various mobile software services

　　Work closely with product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the iOS platform

　　Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest iOS programming techniques and development tools

　　Build reusable iOS software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms

　　Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance

　　Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluations of identifiable factors

　　Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

　　Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance

　　Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems

　　Improve Performance, reliability and efficiency of iOS applications

　　Setup A/B tests of new products, analyze the usage metrics and make ship decisions

　　Write cross-platform code at C++ layer that can be shared across Android, iOS and Desktop applications

　　Provide technical and architectural support for partner teams across the company, and to external developers who build on Meta’s platform

　　$215,197.00/year to $235,000.00/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. 　　Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field, and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or in a Computer-related occupation. OR employer will accept 5 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Experience must include 3 years of experience in the following:

　　Object-oriented software development

　　Building complex applications for the iPhone, iPad and other iOS based products using Objective-C, Swift or C++ with the iOS SDK

　　Multithreading programming and mobile memory management

　　Experience in both Objective-C and Swift

　　Relational databases and SQL

　　Linux or Unix

　　Algorithms

　　One of the following client-server communication patterns: REST, GraphQL, gRPC

　　Industry: Internet
