　　The Software Engineer (Intermediate) responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, like Java, Ruby on Rails or .NET programming languages (e.g., C++ or JScript.NET.) Our ideal candidates will be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Designs, develops and installs software solutions. Builds high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with DOD coding standards and technical design. Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or install software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Other duties as required by the Government.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　BA/BS from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, software engineering or other related field.

　　6 years as a software engineer within the DOD environment. 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience.

　　Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
