All of our products, including our apps, now share a new vision: to help bring the metaverse to life.As part of the XR organization in Reality Labs, our team charter is to accelerate the innovation in AR and VR by providing data systems that allow ML and computer vision engineers in Reality Labs to move fast with high confidence. Our work includes frameworks and infrastructure for data collection, data storage and management, data discovery and insights and our primary customers are teams in Reality Labs that build the core features of current and future AR and VR products.AR and VR products present novel challenges that require innovative solutions using ML and computer vision. These include everything from hand tracking to scene reconstruction to AR navigation and much more. A common aspect for the teams that work on solving these challenges is that they require a large amount of data, both real and synthetically generated, and the quality of data infrastructure and tools have a direct impact on their ability to innovate quickly towards launching Metaverse experiences. Our infrastructure and systems are used across the Reality Labs organization, with petabytes of data and billions of samples being added yearly. As a central team serving a large and quickly growing organization, we have an impact opportunity across all the products being developed in Reality Labs.

　　Software Engineer, Frontend Responsibilities:

　　Full stack web/mobile application development with a variety of coding languages

　　Code using primarily Python, C/C++, PHP(Hack) and JavaScript/TypeScript

　　Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native

　　Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services

　　Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature or system with expert end-to-end understanding

　　Successfully completes projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　6+ years of programming experience

　　6+ years relevant experience building large-scale applications or similar experience

　　Fullstack proficiency, able to deliver full e2e product solutions including Frontend (React, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP)

　　Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience

　　Demonstrated experience driving change within an organisation and leading complex technical projects

　　Must obtain work authorization in country of employment (Switzerland) at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
