　　Modern Technology Solutions Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Software Engineer toprovide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to the UnitedStates Space Force (USSF). The positiion will provide software engineeringto support the USSF Test Enterprise developing and sustaining the NSTTC-D todrive data-informed decisions at speed, maximizing the Service'sflexibility and efficiency in delivering space-based capabilities for theJoint Force and the nation. The successful candidate will possessinitiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams.

　　Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:Troubleshoot development and operational incidents, identify root causes,fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.Manage the software configuration control processes, ensure that relevantstakeholder requirements are met.Evaluate and make recommendations on adjudication of software deficiencyreports.Provide expert consultation on quality assurance and software safety practicesto a government/industry team.Provide software development expertise to anomaly investigations and systemdevelopment IPTs.Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues related to containerorchestration, networking, and resource management.Advise the development of hardware and software functionality and performancespecifications.Work with stakeholders to develop test plans and evaluate results.Provide multi-domain model building and simulation assistance for spacesensors, systems, and mission CONOPS development.Collaborate with software development teams to architect, deploy, andmaintain applications.Support model and analysis tool software development, perform dataacquisition, and conduct detailed analysis.Stay up to date with and research industry best practices, trends, andemerging technologies for possible implementation.Participating in technical discussions, trade studies and working groups.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management,UX/UI designers, and quality assurance, to define and deliver softwaresolutions that meet customer needs.Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations on softwaredevelopment and sustainment progress, achievements, and challenges tostakeholders.Design in process automation and scripts for provisioning, monitoring, andmanaging software deployments and to reduce manual steps and improvereusability of solutions.Utilize cloud services and technologies to develop scalable and reliablesoftwareQualifications

　　Required Experience:Minimum of five (5) years of relevant technical experience demonstratedproficiency with tools such as Oracle, HyperSQL, SQL Server,PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, etc.Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems.Knowledge of software computer design, development, test, integration,and quality assurance.Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of KubernetesCapability to assume a leadership role during system requirements reviews,
