Job Description

　　Manage a local team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for Oracle Supply Chain Planning.

　　Responsibilities

　　As a manager in the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

　　This position will require extensive collaboration with the North America-based portion of the development team, which may have an impact on normal workday schedule.

　　This is a technical leadership role. The successful applicant should have a strong software development background and experience with large, complex software systems. Preferred areas of experience include: modern web UI (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), cloud computing architecture, Java, database/SQL, C/C++, numerical optimization. operations research or scheduling, multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows), debugging and performance optimization.

　　Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM framework is an asset. Experience with DevOps/software deployment lifecycle is an asset.
