This journey will lead to improve project outcomes, being able to leverage the digital twin, systems integration and interoperability, support for decision-making, autonomous execution, and integrated operations and performance centers.

　　iPas MP is Hatch’s global Materials Management and Procurement application and is based on the Smart Materials system from Hexagon (Intergraph). It forms part of the iPas suite of project delivery tools which provides an integrated platform to support Hatch’s EPCM business processes and practices. Senior Oracle Apex Developer will be responsible for the system analysis, design, development, and solution implementation required to enhance Smart Materials to support Hatch’s processes.

　　As part of the Hatch Smart Materials technical team, the Senior Oracle Apex Developer will report to the Smart Material Product Manager within Hatch Digital. The technical team, in turn, takes direction from the Global Discipline Director Procurement Systems. Key business customers include engineering, procurement, and construction.

　　As the successful candidate, you will:

　　Proactively bring alternate and improved methods to establish first in class Smart Materials delivery and effectively collaborate with all participants involved in the process

　　Respond to requests and priorities set by the Product Manager

　　Design and build user friendly, modern looking Oracle APEX applications thinking about end-user experience and designing solutions to maximize user efficiency

　　Administers all APEX objects, code, forms, including tables, indexes, views and sequences, packages, and procedures.

　　Implements user access levels for each segment of APEX application and database

　　Perform as a technology subject matter expert for APEX who provides guidance and support to technical team on APEX application development and maintenance.

　　Develop and maintain various in-house developed components of Smart Materials using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, APEX, JSON, API, including data visualizations (charts, grids, etc.) using APEX, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Power BI

　　Assist in the provision of estimates of effort for technical design and development activities

　　Proactively participate in the software design process including the creation and review of functional and technical specifications

　　Interact with users and the functional team to diagnose issues (troubleshoot) and answer queries

　　Actively provide input into continuous improvement of the technical environment

　　Participate in the development and support of automated data interfaces to other systems

　　Participate in product upgrades and provide support during upgrade verification

　　Collaborate with and support the IT, database, and application administration teams in maintaining the production environment

　　Collaborate with other iPas teams on cross-practice requirements

　　Assure software quality through conformance to standards

　　Adhere to and give input into Hatch policies and procedures for systems development and projects

　　You bring to the role:

　　Strong verbal and written communication

　　Strong system analysis and troubleshooting skills, willingness to seek out creative solutions

　　More than 5 years of development experience with Oracle APEX

　　More than 5 years of experience with Advanced PL/SQL and data modeling

　　More than 3 years of experience developing and integrating systems using API

　　Experience with Smart Materials (SMAT) product of Hexagon or other procurement systems

　　Experience with JSON and Java

　　Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with team

　　Ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of responsibilities and tasks

　　Willing to work occasionally after-hours as part of a cross-functional team supporting global projects

　　It is an asset if you have the following qualifications and experience:

　　SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and Power BI

　　TOAD

　　Agile Methodology and use of DevOps

　　Strong client focus

　　Willing to travel occasionally as required
