　　Collaborates with other software developers, business systems analysts, and liaisons to translate user requirements and systems objectives of increasing complexity into a logical, efficient and optimal systems design. Develops and maintains new and existing applications by writing code based on the design to ensure that business rules, security standards and government regulations are met. Escalates issues to management for resolution. Assists in creating and executing required test plans on all new and changed components.

　　Responsibilities

　　Develops and maintains new and existing applications by analyzing, designing and writing code of increasing complexity that satisfies a logical, efficient and optimal systems design.

　　Leads program-level and system-level testing, implementation, and break-fix tasks associated with business applications, including multiple platforms.

　　Develops documentation of technical workflows and systems designs and verifies against user requirements.

　　Works with database staff and security staff to ensure that data standards and security standards are properly applied.

　　Learns new technical concepts and software languages as needed.

　　Qualifications

　　Education and Experience

　　Bachelors degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.

　　Minimum 3 years information systems experience.

　　Technical Skills and Knowledge

　　Understanding of application development using Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and similar tools.

　　Experience working on Web API, and web applications using C# .NET/.Net Core

　　Experience writing SSIS packages that handle a variety of sources and destinations including SQL Server, DB2 and files.

　　Experience building Rest API and web-services. Able to demonstrate knowledge on JSON and XML Transformations.

　　Experience developing with Angular JS, React or similar framework.

　　Good working knowledge of source control, build and release automation and branch management with GIT repository on TFS or Azure DevOps.

　　Experience working with databases, stored procedures, views and tables on Microsoft SQL Server and DB2.

　　Terraform and Azure DevOps preferred

　　Fivetran, Alation, Reltio and Databricks preferred.

　　Experience with Fivetran and data ingestion patterns preferred.

　　Familiarity with Azure Databricks administration (Unity Catalog) and data architectural patterns preferred.

　　Windows and Linux server administration preferred.

　　Experience with server automation and scripting preferred.

　　Tableau and PowerBI administration preferred.

　　Familiarity with databases including DB2 z/OS, DB2 for i, SQL Server, and Oracle preferred.
