Software Developer
KBR is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. KBR’s National Security Solutions (NSS) division provides high-end engineering, intelligence, cyber security, missile defense, and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities, helping them solve their most difficult challenges. In this position, you’d be working on a team making a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.
We're looking for a motivated and talented C++ Software Developer to develop critical modeling and simulation software in support of an Intelligence Community program. While your duties may fluctuate, you'll primarily be responsible for:
Working with the team lead and customer to define software requirements
Designing, developing, and testing software for the customer
Supporting the modeling of overhead (space) SIGINT
Supporting customer testing events as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience and strong skills using C++, including design, coding, and testing
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related discipline
Visual Studio experience
Background/understanding of digital signal processing, RF, wireless communication systems, or RADAR
Experience with Space systems, Overhead SIGINT Acquisition and Architecture’s, SIGINT payloads/hardware, SIGINT Mission areas, SIGINT tasking, SIGINT signals/types and collection management
Experience understanding, coding, and testing complex mathematical algorithms
Background in MATLAB/Python (desired)
Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
Security Requirements:
Active TS/SCI
CI polygraph highly desired
