This role is dedicated to advancing our commitment to social responsibility, ethical practices, and human rights within our organization and throughout our supply chain. The ideal candidate willpossessa deep understanding of social impact initiatives, human rights frameworks, and sustainable business practices. Thisrolewill report to the Human Rights, Stakeholder Engagement and Social Impact Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement comprehensive, integratedhuman rights and social impactinitiatives with a specific focus on thought leadership, corporate storytelling, and positive impact.
Devise and execute comprehensive social impact strategies aligned with the organization's values andobjectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social impact considerations into business operations.
Cultivate andmaintainrelationships with key external stakeholders, including NGOs and advocacy groups focused on social impact and human rights.
Represent the organization in discussions and initiatives related to social responsibility and human rights.
Develop and implement training programs to educate internal teams on human rights principles, ethical business practices, and social impact.
Facilitate workshops and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of respect for human rights.
Conduct community impact assessmentsacross HP’s value chain.
Developsocial impact metrics and KPIsacross our human rights programtofacilitateimpact measurement.
Support integration of social and community impactmetricsinto our human rights programs andcommunicate thisimpactto internal stakeholders as appropriate.
Contributeexpertiseand analysistoenhancingmandatory and voluntary human rights related disclosureswith social impact data.
Assistin asset creation highlightingsocial impact initiatives and measurements.
Prepare regular reports on the organization's social impact performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EducationandExperienceRequired
Bachelor's degreehuman rights, social impact,social sciences, international relations, orsimilar. Must have knowledge of business and human rights, including normative frameworks and new regulations.
Ability toidentifyemerging trends frominternal,market and industry data.
Value chain and/or sustainability knowledge.
Human Rightsknowledgedesirable.
Proven self-starter with excellent business judgment, problem solving, organization and networking skills.
