Holtec International and its subsidiary companies are designing a safe and secure source of clean energy using nuclear fission, called the Holtec SMR (Small Modular Reactor). 　　Job Description:

　　The SmartPlant 3D Application Manager’s primary responsibility will be the management of the Holtec SmartPlant models and database to aid in the development of Holtec designs. This will be in accordance with the Design Development group’s project plan and the department’s rigorous QA programs. The S3D [SmartPlant 3D] Application Manager will aid in meeting licensing goals and support resolution of emergent project and technical issues. The candidate will be part of a team executing a U.S. Government cost-shared development program requiring efficient completion of project scope. This is a dynamic position expected to have evolving responsibilities as the project moves through its life cycle from design, to licensing, to procurement, to construction, to testing, and finally to commercial operation.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　· Providing daily administrative, installation, configuration of, maintenance and operational support of the Smart 3D environment

　　· Project creation, setup, and maintenance

　　· Training of S3D users

　　· Maintaining S3D database SQL Servers, creating and updating SQL queries

　　· Regularly creating and monitoring S3D backups

　　· Standardizing the workflow for project execution of SmartPlant by assisting in the creation of S3D procedures and standards

　　· Supporting troubleshooting to solve S3D environment problems to ensure project integrity

　　· Building relationships that will facilitate knowledge transfer, cross functional knowledge of related work groups, and ability to present work products effectively

　　· Developing knowledge and expertise in unfamiliar topics relevant to the needs of the Engineering Design team.

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　· Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Smart 3D Administrator or Project Manager providing maintenance and operational support of the SmartPlant Software Suite, *OR other application development and operational experience

　　· Experience maintaining SmartPlant 3D database SQL servers.

　　· Strong knowledge of drafting and design standards and techniques in electrical, mechanical, piping, structural or instrumentation drafting

　　· Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.

　　· Proficiency in computer software applications such as Microsoft Office.

　　· Excellent attention to detail and capable of producing error-free documents.

　　Optional Additional Qualifications:

　　· Some proficiency in alternate drafting software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
