Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for deploying and supporting an air-gapped, on-prem development network to support many users/customers.
What you will be doing:
Analyzes, designs, and develops computer software required to support hardware or technical service products.
Reviews system architecture and selects and implements appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance.
Tests and debugs related software.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Network Engineering, Computer Security, software engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Must have 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
US citizen
Experience with the Linux operating system (CentOS, Rocky Linux)
Experience with application deployment in Docker Containers
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible)
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Experience with source code managements tools (Git)
Great understanding of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
Solid communication skills to effectively work with technical team members, managers, and customers in a distributed environment.
Strong ability to function independently.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
VMware and vCenter for on-prem cloud
Build automation technologies (Gitlab CI/CD, Packer)
Working in Agile environment
Implementing and securing FOSS/COTS software
Experience managing Windows infrastructure (AD, DHCP, DNS, PKI)
Configuring and maintaining web services (full-stack administrator)
Grafana/Prometheus service monitoring and alerting
Experience with administering the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence)
Experience with administering development services (JFrog Artifactory, GitLab, HashiCorp Vault/Terraform)
Experience managing Windows workstation baselines (MDT, PDQ)
Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)

Salary Range:
$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
