JMT, is currently ranked #59 on Engineering News-Record's list of the Top 500 Design Firms.Position summary: JMT is seeking a site designer with 2-to-8-years of experience to join our Special Projects Team. The individual will serve a key role in supporting planning and designing spaces for a wide variety of projects including municipal, public, transit and educational facilities parks and recreation facilities, public open spaces,  environmental restoration, transportation, and green infrastructure. Sponsorship is not available for this position.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide design and technical support and assistance to project team, Senior Engineer/Landscape Architects and/or Project Managers on design, planning, and construction projects.Assists, with supervisory input and oversight, in the preparation of Feasibility Studies, Master Plans, Pedestrian/Bicycle Facilities Planning and Design, Concept Studies, and Corridor Plans, Construction Documents, and Technical Reports.Conduct research and perform site reviews and analysis.Collaborate/prepare illustrative renderings and presentations.Participates in preparation of public involvement strategies and materials and participate in public/stakeholder outreach and engagement activities.Generate concept drawings and sketches.Prepare construction documents, details, cost estimates and specification packages.Nonessential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assigned.

　　Required ExperienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture from an accredited program2-plus years of design experience is site designGeneral understanding of site design and permit and construction plan preparation using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3DProficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D, PowerPoint, and Microsoft OfficeAttention to detail, written and oral communication skillsQualifications preferred:Familiarity with 3D Modeling software (Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion or some other software), GIS mapping software (ESRI products)Related experienceProficiency in Adobe Creative suite applicationsWorking Conditions:Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time but does require site visits. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. Work sometimes requires availability in the evenings and on weekends to participate in public engagement activities.Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.  Field work will require walking and carrying field equipment over typical outdoor terrain.  Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.JMT is an , and we are proud to be building an inclusive and diverse workforce.#LI-JP1
