JOB REQUIREMENTS: Perform battery repairs to include acid adjustments,load tests, cell replacements, cable repairs, connector, contact tips,washes, and painting. Train on the electrical operation of SCR,Ferroresonant, and High Frequency charging technologies, and assist withrepairs as needed. Pick-up and deliver products. Coordinate, collect,band, and ship scrap batteries. Maintain company vehicles that are usedon job assignments. Clean and maintain an orderly warehouse, assist withinventory management, and complete minor facility repairs as needed.Assist Field Service Technicians on PMs. Travel on occasion to otherbranches or job sites to assist with product installations, removal, orrepairs (some overnight travel required). Build strong relationshipswith customers. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. ***** OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High School or GED Diploma required.Prefer an Associate Degree from an approved two-year college oruniversity or very strong equivalent experience. Working knowledge ofbasic AC and DC electrical/electronic theory. Strong communication,problem solving, and analytical skills. Ability to organize his/her ownwork and work independently, with limited supervision. Ability to workwith individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, andacross remote offices. Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both writtenand verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listeneffectively to customer needs. Ability to develop and maintain strongworkplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward thegreater good of the organization. Ability to adapt to a fast-changingenvironment. Experience in material handling environment is preferred,but not required. Intermittent travel expected within designatedterritory, home most nights.
