　　Main Responsibilities

　　Repair and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment and motor vehicles while adhering to all company safety policies.

　　Proper completion of any required paperwork/records regarding repairs to equipment and vehicles on a timely basis.

　　Must be able to carry out detailed instructions, take directions to job sites.

　　Must be able to use good judgement in decision-making and be able to work with or without direct supervision.

　　Education and Skills Required

　　EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

　　High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

　　CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

　　Special certificates are required in order to work on air brakes or to be qualified to replace coolant in air conditioning systems.

　　Must have a valid driver’s license to drive mechanic truck.

　　A Medical Certificate (Med Card) is required for this position.

　　GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　Mechanics must supply their own tools.

　　Must actively abide by the company’s safety policies and procedures.

　　Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.
