　　Compare items to identifying information and counts, weights, or measures of outgoing shipments.Verify information against appropriate documentation, including but not limited to, purchase orders, invoices, customer orders, drawings, travelers and SOEs.Visually examine and compare items to be shipped with appropriate documentation and quality control process requirement.Alert appropriate individual or department of discrepancies or damage.Assembles shipping containers or selects pre-assembled containers, and inserts items to be shipped into containers, using spacers, fillers and protective padding.Closes and seals packages to be shipped.Prepares required documentation for shipping.Affixes shipping labels, identifying information, and shipping instructions onto packed cartons or containers. Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage.Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Unpack and examine contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices and orders to verity accuracy in incoming shipments.Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measured items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.Visually examine and compare items received and appropriate internal documentation.Enter receipts into computerized system, spreadsheets and/or other systems.Notify supervisors and other personnel of discrepancies per established policy.
