Description:
Operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks roughly 70% of the day
Inputting Production numbers into Daily Floor Report program on computer
Reading and understanding the Schedule
Dispatching and setting up trucks to pick up loads according to Schedule
Fill out BOL and Packlists
Communicate with Scheduler of any issues involving freight or production issues
Bring copies of paperwork to Scheduler after loads leave AEI
Keep calendar updated for driver and production meeting
Keep records of all loads shipped in Shipping Log on computer
Keep records of freight companies rates and negotiate to get lower rates weekly
Work with grinding room to help keep Production floor clear of scrap when available
Inventory finished goods and remove from Floor Report when shipped out
