They will be responsible for all supervisory responsibilities associated to front desk operations to include shift scheduling, timecards, and payroll preparation, reporting sick and vacation, ensuring staff trainings as assigned, ensures Standard Operating Procedures are followed, coordinates shift adjustments as needed in coordination with the Program Manager and Facility Director.This position is full-time, non-exempt, and located in Seattle, Washington.Pay Rate: $23.50/hourDuties & ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision and coordination with the Program Manager and Facility Director, duties will include responsibility for direct supervision of the shelter monitors and/or case management assistants.Demonstrates working knowledge of emergencyAssists with the monitoring, evaluation, and facilitation of changes in operational and administrative programs to ensure compliance with policy, contractual and government (City, State, County, Federal) requirements.Assists as needed in hiring assuring adequate coverage of permanent, temporary, and on-call shelterProvide direct supervision and training for assigned staffAttends and participates in all staffConduct regular shelter program staff meetings as needed, ensuring both internal and external compliance.Ability to conduct and oversee direct client services.Provide policy and procedure guidance to subordinate staffProvide supportive care to residents experiencing personalEducation & ExperienceHS Diploma or GEDMinimum of 1-year experience in public contact/customer service1 year of relatable supervisory experienceDemonstrates skilled training in basic Trauma-Informed Care, Mental Health First Aide, and conflictFour months successful experience as a Salvation Army Shelter Monitor (or related experience).Washington State Driver's License requiredThe information in this job description indicates the general nature and level of work performed by an employee in this classification.
