Langan is seeking a SharePoint Developer Intern or Co-op to join its collaborative Information Technology discipline in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in collecting, maintaining, and administering digital media, creating IT training materials, and updating and maintaining internal SharePoint sites. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support multiple departments in an engineering consulting firm with content management of the SharePoint sites.
Responsibilities
Create and manage SharePoint Online sites;
Meet with internal Langan teams to gather requirements;
Provide basic SharePoint training to staff and site members;
Troubleshoot SharePoint site issues;
Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, libraries, permissions, app and web parts;
Design client specific sites;
Create and maintain workflows;
Use migration solutions such as Sharegate or Microsoft SharePoint Migration Tool; and
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Student actively pursuing coursework towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business related field;
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater preferred;
Knowledge of SharePoint, HTML5, JQuery, JavaScript, AngularJS, Python, and CSS is a plus;
Introductory knowledge about Power Automate/Flows;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Ability to provide an outstanding work product with strong attention to details;
Ability to proactively organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent communication skills; and
Self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable.
