We are looking for a Senior Urban Designer / Master Planner with a minimum of 7 years’ experience to join our team. 　　Job Description

　　Arquitectonica Dubai are expanding their team and looking for a passionate Senior Urban Designer/ Planner to join our Urbanism + Planning team, work on transformative global projects.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Design, coordinate and leads projects independently under the supervision of the Project Director . Attend client meetings and take ownership of design, content and report structure.

　　Initiate and craft innovative master planning and design solutions, for efficient project delivery.

　　Develop baseline assessment and analysis of various data and develop baseline criteria for masterplan development.

　　Prepare/review and understand datasets to correlate population projections against built up area in alignment with client vision, and local regulations and standards.

　　Manage and laisse with a multidisciplinary team – including client teams, external subconsultants and authorities.

　　Coordinate to prepare projects deliverables and applicable planning authorities’ requirements and coordinate with various disciplines technical input.

　　Support in the preparation of technical bids and fee proposals for master planning and urban design projects

　　Provide mentorship and coaching to more junior planners and designers.

　　Has solid understanding of various project scale and stages of planning projects and associated processes and outputs.

　　Possesses Strong design management, report production and coordination skills.

　　Able to zoom in to the architectural (building) level of a masterplan as needed.

　　Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

　　May be required to travel.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Requirements

　　Minimum 7 years of relevant experience working experience in urban design, urban planning and master planning. 

　　Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design,  Architecture, Landscape Design or equivalent.

　　Masters degree preferred.

　　Proficient in 3d Modelling, visualization, graphic software: Autocad, Sketchup and Rhino(preferred)

　　Experience in working on notable projects in the GCC Region.

　　Professional membership such as RTPI, AICP, PIA, CIP, SIP or equivalent preferred.

　　Fully conversant with Adobe Creative Suite with demonstrable graphics and visualisation skills.

　　Strong design and graphics capabilities and ability to communicate ideas via various visual and graphic media including hand drawn sketches and computer graphics.

　　Technical Experience and Knowledge in Authority regulations and Approval Processes, specifically in UAE and KSA.

　　GIS knowledge preferred.
