Are you a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where precision and efficiency drive success? We're seeking an experienced Underwriter to lead our team and optimize our underwriting processes. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping smart lending decisions, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Regularly update underwriting processes to ensure they remain current, and consistently applied with precision and reliability.

Continuously assess and improve the underwriting workflow to meet organizational standards and achieve quality objectives.

Refine underwriting guidelines to minimize early delinquency rates and enhance decision-making accuracy.

Analyze customer financial information thoroughly, taking all relevant variables into account to inform prudent lending decisions.

Lead and support a team of underwriting analysts, promoting a culture focused on precision, responsibility, and ongoing development.

Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute initiatives that drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in the underwriting process.

Manage the underwriting software and tools, strenghting vendor partnerships to ensure smooth operation and explore opportunities for improvement.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies by regularly reviewing and adjusting underwriting standards to mitigate risk.
