Senior Systems Administrator

　　JHNA is currently seeking ahighly motivated Senior System Administratorwith demonstrated experience performingsystem administration functions on Aircraft or Weapons Systems networks.

　　This position will require on-site presence at NAVAIR in Patuxent River, MD.

　　Roles/Responsibilities

　　Work to help maintain and upgrade network infrastructures across the NAVAIRMonitor network to ensure network availability to all system usersAssist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordinationAnalyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systemsPerform maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.Optimize the functionality and performance of hardware and software systemsImplement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans and capabilitiesPlan for authorized service interruptions and outagesRespond to unexpected or unauthorized service interruptions and outagesDiagnose software and hardware failures to resolutionImplement and ensure security preventive measures are fully functioningTest operating system and software upgrades, patches, and hot fixesJob Requirements

　　Candidate must possess an Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline.-Will accept additional years of experience in lieu of education requirement.At least 5 years of experience in system administration, performing the functional duties for this position.```{=html}
