　　Responsibilities

　　As a Geomatics Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry. You will help increase project efficiency and client satisfaction by:

　　Processing data utilizing SAM standards, including the evaluation of accuracy and sufficiency, all while ensuring compliance to applicable land survey project and industry principles under the direction of your supervisorMonitoring field crew's production and quality assurancePreparing survey plats and drawings, legal descriptions and alignment drawingsPerforming quality control checks of plats, drawings and deliverables prepared by other techniciansCoordinating with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being metQualifications

　　5+ years field and office experience in route survey projects, boundary analysis, DTM projects, and construction layout and data processingStrong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D required; MicroStation is a plusProficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plusFamiliarity with GIS platforms is a plus however it is not necessaryS.I.T. Certification is a plus however, it is not necessary
