This role controls the efficient flow ofWIP throughout the build process, while ensuring that we execute inalignment with our build plan and customer requirements. This role willinterface directly with Assemblers, Planners, Operations Leadership, andValue Stream Leaders.

　　The Sr. Supervisor creates and oversee schedules that drive productionactivities in support of the Master Production Schedule, forecast, andcustomer commitments. Serves as the primary interface to direct theoperations team and all supporting functions. He or she is thedesignated operations focal for all Value Stream and Program Managers tounderstand shop capacity, labor availability, and production completiondates. Uses assembly techniques and acquired trained knowledge to workdirectly with planners, and schedulers to establish the monthly andannual build plans for end items and made in-house sub-assemblies.Ensures build plan is in alignment with MPS, MRAP, and LE, andForecasting tools.

　　The successful candidate is responsible for developing and maintain atrained and flexible workforce, developing and maintaining teamperformance objectives, consistent with the critical issues of theoperations group, drafts and administers plant performance reviews,Interviewing candidates to select quality new employees, and maintainingthe \"people capability\" to meet established goals. This involveshiring, training, communication, goal setting, and reinforcement throughrecognition and discipline.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Responsible for labor planning.

　　Conduct training related to the quality management system.

　　Perform root cause investigation and establish corrective action.

　　Interface with customers regarding quality issues.

　　Ensure operator follow the redescribed methods and instruction duringthe build process.

　　Champions continuous improvement in the work team

　　Responsible for tracking, reporting, and overtime management.

　　May be responsible for managing selected capital projects.

　　Ensures appropriate levels of WIP are maintained and that finished goodsare completed on time.

　　May perform other tasks as required or assigned.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevantexperience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 yearsof experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

　　Prior supervisory experience i.e. cell leader or higher

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

　　Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly

　　Proficient in MS Office skills

　　Experience working in a cross-functional team, such as including membersfrom operations/production, technical/engineering groups, financedepartments, etc.

　　Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

　　Ability to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts, anddraw valid conclusions.

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability tocommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of theorganization.
