Oracle's Financial Close and Reporting comprises of best of breed applications enabling corporations to adapt quickly to changing business and compliance requirements while reducing risk, improving control, and delivering faster, more accurate insights to all stakeholders—anytime, anywhere. This is a small team within a dynamic international organization. The position provides customer interaction and opportunities to influence product direction and work on new cloud applications.

　　Oracle Financial Close and Tax Reporting:

　　As a Senior Software Developer you will work in a challenging environment as a web developer on a new enterprise application in the Financial Close and Reporting space.

　　We are looking for software professionals who are passionate about end user experience to build web-based enterprise applications.

　　Responsibilities

　　The role will consist of:

　　Design and Develop web-based enterprise applications

　　Strong emphasis on ease of use for the business user

　　Develop unit test suites for new code

　　Troubleshoot and resolve application defects

　　Provide technical guidance to junior developers

　　Evaluate new technologies and development methodologies

　　Collaborate with other teams, such as platform, to design new features or resolve problems

　　Technology used include: ADF, Java/J2EE, Web Services, XML, SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript

　　Focus will be:

　　Application quality and design

　　Simplified end user experience, tablet friendly UI

　　What we are looking for:

　　B.E./MCA/MS Computer Science (or related discipline)

　　5+ years of programming experience in Java technologies

　　Extensive practical knowledge of Java/J2EE/Web Services

　　Problem solving skills

　　Experience with large and complex application development

　　Capable of working independently and efficiently

　　Passion for end user experience

　　Strong communication skills both written and verbal

　　Ability to quickly learn new technologies

　　Oracle ADF knowledge/experience – added advantage

　　Experience with EPM or Tax Provision domain – added advantage
