Edge and Platform Security Fundamentals (EPSF) is responsible for securing some of Microsoft’s largest and most critical online services in Azure, Gaming, and Windows + Devices. 

　　As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and streamline infrastructure security across clouds and hybrid environments. Your work will have an immediate impact on the business by eliminating risk and aligning with company objectives.

　　As a member of our team, you will work with leaders, engineers, and PMs across multiple organizations, guiding them to take meaningful action to protect their systems and services. You’ll collaborate closely with our Data Engineering, Hunt, Application Security (App Sec), Penetration Testing (PenTest) and Infrastructure Security teams.

　　This is a hands-on position where you'll actively develop and test security solutions alongside partner teams, both internally and across the company. You will also have the ability to interact with and provide feedback to product groups to help enhance and secure their products.

　　Responsibilities

　　8 to 10 years of hands-on software design and coding experience with technical expertise on Object-Oriented Programming like C#

　　Significant hands-on experience on developing apps for Web (.Net and React)

　　Hands-on experience on multi could technologies (AZ, AWS and GCP)

　　Develop defensive security solutions for security baselines and Asses&recommend security-based architecture changes

　　Align development practices and repositories to security standards

　　Customer-obsessed, both for the solutions developed and the experiences they create

　　Evaluate, propose, test and deploy automation solutions for complex and repetitive tasks

　　Exceptional partner, as we design and collaborate across many teams across the company

　　Co-develop reference architectures which can be leveraged across a broad consumer base

　　Willing to dive into details technically and drive for win/win solutions

　　Qualifications

　　Required Qualifications

　　5+ years of experience in professional software development

　　BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience

　　5+ years in cyber security with a focus on secure infrastructure or secure application design

　　Improve Security and take customer’s requirements into account

　　Demonstrated coding skills in one or more popular languages and platforms such as: C#, Java, Python, and others

　　Technical background in Windows, Multi Cloud security, infrastructure security, identity management and Azure

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Experience developing, deploying and supporting cloud-based or hybrid software solutions

　　Have knowledge of cyber security with a focus on secure infrastructure or secure application design

　　Familiarity with machine learning and AI as part of solutions

　　Experience developing, deploying and supporting on-prem software solutions

　　Windows and/or Linux OS platform experience
