Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Seattle, Washington office.

　　Job Duties: Design and implement reliable, performant and scalable Backend and Frontend solutions; Work on strategic IT platforms and propose technical/quality strategy and roadmaps; Follow the latest industry trends and constantly look for opportunities for the team and Zillow Group; Exercise agile software development practices to deliver and iterate quickly; Leverage application development experience in an object oriented language such as Java, JavaScript, React, C# or Python and frontend technologies such as React, Node.js etc.; Apply proven experience in directing the designing, coding, debugging, and delivering web applications and backend services; Utilize high proficiency in distributed systems, AWS, and databases; Work collaboratively with a strong focus on flawless execution and results; Exercise agile development style to deliver and iterate quickly. Telecommuting permitted.

　　Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Three years of experience in: Design and develop REST microservices in a container-based environment; Develop high throughput applications using Java; Implement enterprise server components utilizing Java/JEE/Spring; Manage build and release through Jenkins, Maven and Gradle; and Develop procedures for handling data on databases.

　　Alternative requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: Design and develop REST microservices in a container-based environment; Develop high throughput applications using Java; Implement enterprise server components utilizing Java/JEE/Spring; Manage build and release through Jenkins, Maven and Gradle; and Develop procedures for handling data on databases.
