　　Wendel is currently seeking a Senior Site/Civil Engineer to work ideally out of our Williamsville, NY office, but we are open to candidates in the Rochester, NY and Syracuse, NY area. In this position, you will work with our planning and site/civil services group, providing support on site plan reviews, planning board activities, general planning services, and SWPPP/site inspections.

　　We are seeking someone with a strong knowledge of site plan design, project management, entitlements and permitting, proficiency in stormwater and hydraulic calculations, familiarity with State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR), NYSDEC and MS4 stormwater regulations, comprehensive plans, and zoning regulations. Knowledge of solar projects would be a big plus.

　　Responsibilities:

　　*Perform technical discipline tasks including research, report preparation, design, and specification/plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.*Assist with business development activities, including meeting with clients.*Assist with preparing and coordinating proposal efforts to secure work.*Represent the firm in meetings and conferences with regulatory agencies and officials of other organizations.

　　Qualifications:

　　*Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.*10+ years of experience.*PE is a plus.*Proficient in Word, Excel and AutoCAD Civil 3D.*Self-starter with great communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.*Ability to make independent engineering decisions to successfully advance the project.*Provide technical leadership and mentor younger staff.*The candidate shall be able to successfully lead projects in a hybrid work environment both in the office or working remotely.
