Senior Representative Accounts Payable
DescriptionTo further ensure and grow our department, we are currently looking for a Senior Representative Accounts Payable. As a Senior Representative Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounts payable activities. These activities require attention to detail, ability to manage change, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a changing environment and can manage multiple priorities. A self-starter with exceptional communication skills who can work independently and be a good team-player. This individual will need to be able to pick things up quickly and meet deadlines for multiple tasks. At NSF we promote diversity and provide equal opportunity for all applicants and employees.Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Manage the accounts payable inboxes to receive, review and verify invoices.Identify and research any issues with invoices and/or required documentation received.Accurately data enter invoices for payment in a timely manner.Review employee and contractor expense reports for accuracy according to NSF expense and travel policies to approve or reject reports.Work with contractors, employees and approvers on expense report issues.Process and complete pay-runs from beginning to end.Complete month end accruals for accounts payable North America.Support the Accounting & FP&A teams with requests and research balance sheet accounts for reconciliation.Complete sales and use tax report for the Tax Department.Complete invoice approvals.Complete yearly 1099s and T4A tax forms.Develop strong working relations with both internal and external business partners.Respond timely to accounts payable inquiries.QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting or related fieldSelf-starter motivated individual who can work independently to solve problems in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work in a team environment and to help others to succeedAbility to multi-task and meet daily objectivesDetail oriented and problem-solving mindsetProficiency in MS ExcelHybrid: in the Ann Arbor office 3 days / weekPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accountingExperience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP system preferredExperience with ConcurWhat we offer:High-quality individual and family medical, dental and vision insuranceCompetitive compensation packagesEmployer-matched 401(k) retirement planEmployer-paid group term life insurance and the option to elect voluntary life insuranceEmployee assistance programFSA and HAS AccountsUnlimited professional and personal development on-line training through Catalyst#LI-DNI
