Reporting to the Manager Supply Planning you will position finished goods inventories to balance fill rates, carrying costs and transportation. You'll report and solve issues associated with shelf life and mispositioning. Update the business and Customer Service of potential issues.
Product Delivery
Accountable for successful collaboration with Customers and Suppliers to prioritize and deliver finished goods with attention to lowest cost distribution.
Develop detailed understanding of constraints and capabilities of the relevant manufacturing locations.
Communicate with team members: plants, S&OP, Brand Marketing, Demand Planning and Customer Service.
Use CAG systems to identify and communicate main drivers and proposed solutions to service and inventory issues
Translate forecasts to SKU-IMC level supply plans. Maintain DOS targets at the site level.
Maintain and correct Master Data to support inventory/production objectives.
Create reporting and metrics for multiple audiences.
Identify and research Master Data issues. Collaborate with tech teams to improve system performance in deployment planning.
Communicate findings and make recommendations to management and other departments.
Analysis
Assess current inventory levels and forecasts to make decisions that minimize costs and achieve corporate working capital and service level objectives.
Track plant performance (KPIs) to the established supply chain plan.
Support annual planning process for designated brands/plants.
Present findings to leadership and partners.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
Analytical and technical knowledge.
5 + years supply chain, transportation, demand planning, or operations experience.
Experience with supply planning software; knowledge of SAP R/3P, Blue Yonder
Excel skills Intermediate level
In the office 3 days per week Tuesday - Thursday
