Job Description Summary
As a member of the Rotating Equipment (RE) Fossil Americas Repairs Team, you will be an active contributor to the repairs Inquiry to Remittance (ITR) process within our internal and external factory network as well as LCT. This role will require you to contribute and influence our internal and external factory network as well as customers on safety, quality, execution, and scheduling. Activities are applicable to mainly rotating fleet, generator, and steam turbine units, supporting planned and unplanned repairs needs.
Job Description
Your Role:
Execute on assigned repairs ITR operating plan and targets focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC)
Build influential relationships with customers and the Local Customer Team (LCT), develop strategies to win profitable Repairs business from those customers
Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and lead in their execution
Participation on ITO and OTR customer meetings and negotiations
Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region
Responsible for all repairs needs like customer satisfaction, evaluation, plans, and follow through
Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in Services and/or Repairs on Steam turbines/Generators
Own regional repair input for planning and forecasting
Drive repairs strategy and growth initiatives within the region
Facilitate Engineering and repairs resolution with Service Centers in support of executing projects
Work with the internal service centers on continuous improvement, skills, feedback, and others to enable the Service Centers to be successful
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years in rotating repairs or industrial sales)
Minimum 5 years of experience in rotating repairs, or power generation, or industrial sales, or application engineering.

Relationships or experience with steam power customers
Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs and business models
Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools (NEX, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge of Steam Turbine and Generator products and services
Experience creating sales opportunities where none appear to exist
Strong oral and written communication skill
