Within our new and state-of-the-art Greeley, CO manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Engineer on our Plant Technical team to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of people development, equipment reliability, and production efficiencies. At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $105,000 and $125,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 12%.
Lead and drive the conception and completion of assigned capital projects, including development, design, purchase, construction, and start-up, with a focus on satisfying budgetary limits, production needs, and governmental requirements.
Lead parts of capital projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
Oversee improvements, modifications, and upgrades to processes and equipment, ensuring they facilitate production needs and have engineering design conducive to proper repair and maintenance.
Establish critical system priority lists, track all materials used for work orders, and balance multiple projects simultaneously to completion.
Own the development of formal and informal technical training programs to plant production.
Provide technical and engineering expertise and mentorship to production and maintenance to improve productivity and reduce cost.
Identify, develop, and lead improvements to utility, process, or energy systems, to improve efficiency or reduce cost.

Wed love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or related field or similar work experience in related industry
5+ years of experience in equipment reliability and/or plant maintenance, additional education may substitute experience where applicable
Project engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Experience with a Work Order Execution system within MAXIMO.
Familiarity of engineering principles, including physics, chemistry, structural and machine design.
