ATHOL Senior Production Manager Job Summary: The Production Manager willoversee the day-to-day activities of the operation, ensuring that theorganization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.Duties and Responsibilities: Establishes quantitative and qualitativemetrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company\'s efficiencyand effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies & implementsopportunities for improvement. Reviews, analyzes, evaluates businessprocedures for improvement opportunities. Identifies & implementsprojects, continuous improvement opportunities, policy and proceduralchanges that will improve day-to-day operations. Ensures workenvironments are adequate and safe. Oversees production supervisionacross all manufacturing operations, ensuring each is reaching goals setby departmental and company leadership. Plans, directs, controls,implements and monitors production output & cost to achieve financialobjectives. Communicates and explains new directives, policies orprocedures to entire operations staff to explain changes, answerquestions, and maintain morale. Improves customer service levels as itrelates to on time delivery performance by improvements to dailythroughput to meet customer requirements. Collaborates with R&D,manufacturing engineering, production planning, facilities management ormaintenance, customer service, or other functions to ensure thatorganizational goals regarding safety, efficiency/productivity, quality,and profitability are met. Manages a team that is responsible foroperating production machinery, assembling items, and performing qualitycontrol, Gemba boards. Ensures that department has sufficient levels ofinventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately. Performs otherrelated duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to work as part of ateam.
