Job Summary
The Product Delivery team is focused on the technical and operational implementation of new health insurance products. From network builds to vendor and program implementations and beyond. In collaboration with Product Innovation and Product Management the specialist will seek to understand the market needs and develop a solution for meeting those market needs (product concepts). Responsible for partnering with multiple Priority Health departments to define features, user stories (requirements), working with our technical teams to prioritize the work, and supporting all implementation practices. Product Delivery serves as the bridge between business, technical and operational teams to establish effective processes across all areas of the organization.

The Senior Implementation Spec functions:
Writes own epics, features, and user stories with minimal oversight.
Can fully articulate all work within their workstream and begins to understand the impact of their workstream on other workstreams.
Manages the RAID log and proactively works to define mitigation and remediation plans.
Writes test cases / acceptance criteria with minimal oversight.
Executes test cases / validates acceptance criteria and reports results to project leadership, articulating impacts of results.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of "what comes next" and is able to keep the project moving along.
Able to fully operate within SaFE Agile practices and philosophy.
Essential Functions
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior level members, emphasizing the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle and guide them towards continuous improvement.
Support the product development and testing phases of the product development life cycle, including development of supporting documentation, test plans, and process documentation.
Support the product managers in the documentation and assessment of new product design requirements.
Publish, distribute, ensure sign-off on business requirements and other required documentation in support of Compliance.
Documents product designs and catalogues in a reference library (e.g., SharePoint).
Support the development and execution of unit, integration and acceptance test plans, including the assessment and resolution of Change Controls related to testing and post user sign off.
Supports product implementation across all departments or external partners.
Responsible for the problem and issue resolution, working with functional business areas to assess and solve product-related technology and operational performance issues affecting product performance, and/or customer / partner / member satisfaction.
Support product workgroups to address product system issues. Supports the development of performance improvement strategies.
Facilitates development of organization training in support of new products or product enhancements including training in various system platforms.
Support resolution of product-related questions from internal and external stakeholders including sales, Customer Service, Providers, internal operations teams.
Actively participates in safety in risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position requirements on a timely basis.
Preferred Skillset
Demonstrated experience developing and executing unit, integration and acceptance test plans
Strong knowledge and understanding of Priority Health’s products, benefit structures, and product development processes.
Ability to quickly grasp and describe Priority Health products and benefit designs.
Strong understanding of Priority Health systems and operational processes, including but not limited to, Group and Member installation and maintenance, Billing, and Fulfillment.
Basic understanding of Priority Health’s technical infrastructure, integration of systems, batch processes and configurations and technical design of application and interfaces.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in health care or business
5 years of relevant experience in managed care, business or healthcare operations Required
Solid understanding of the senior market and Medicare regulations Required
Familiarity with state and federal regulatory and legislative processes required; must be able to read and interpret complex statutes and regulations. Required
