Our work depends on Senior Procurement Analyst joining our team to be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives. This team’s responsibility includes procuring indirect materials in support of GDIT and direct procurement in support of our government customers.
HOW A SENIOR PROCUREMENT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :
Manage and complete the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements
Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action
Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution
Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.
Ensures high internal customer satisfaction
Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education : Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, 9 years of related work in government contracts and/or strategic procurement required.
Required Experience : 5+ years of experience in government contracts and/or strategic procurement
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
Security Clearance Level: No clearance required
Required Skills and Abilities: Must have direct acquisition experience procuring in accordance with FAR and DFAR. Experience negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers. Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company. Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data. Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently. Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.
Preferred Skills: Experience running RFP’s for direct procurements and/or strategic negotiations. Experience procuring IT Hardware, Software, Cloud/SaaS, or other related commodities
Location : This is a hybrid position working between either GDIT Facilities in Falls Church, VA or Chesapeake, VA and remote. This role requires going into the office minimum of two times a week.

The likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $88,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
